A Level Biology Tutoring Service Contract

This contract outlines the terms and conditions for the provision of A Level Biology tutoring services by No Walls Teaching (the "Tutor") to the client (the "Client") and the student receiving the tutoring (the "Student").

1. Service Description

The Tutor agrees to provide A Level Biology tutoring services, which may be delivered either online or in-person at a mutually agreed-upon location in the UK. The specific content and focus of each tutoring session will be determined based on the Student's needs and the A Level Biology specification.

2. Payment Terms

2.1. All payments for tutoring sessions must be made in advance of the session.
2.2. Sessions can be booked and paid for directly through the Tutor's website at www.nowallsteaching.co.uk.
2.3. The current rates for tutoring services are available on the Tutor's website.

3. Contract Termination and Commitment

3.1. The Client may terminate this contract at any point without penalty. There is no long-term commitment required from the Client.
3.2. Termination of the contract will not affect any sessions already paid for and scheduled, unless cancelled in accordance with Section 4.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1. Client Cancellations:
A full refund for a pre-paid session will be issued if the Client provides at least 48 hours' notice of cancellation before the scheduled session time. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will not be eligible for a refund.

4.2. Tutor Cancellations:
In the event that the Tutor must cancel a scheduled session for any reason, a full refund for that session will be issued to the Client, or the session can be rescheduled at no additional cost if mutually agreed upon.

4.3. Post-Session Refunds:
No refund will be given for a tutoring session once the services have been delivered as described.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1. The Tutor accepts no liability for the specific grade that a Student achieves in any examinations.
5.2. There are no guarantees, expressed or implied, that examination grades will be improved as a result of the tutoring services provided. The effectiveness of tutoring is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to, the student's effort, prior knowledge, and engagement with the learning process.

6. Confidentiality

All information shared between the Tutor, Client, and Student during the course of the tutoring sessions will be treated with strict confidentiality, unless disclosure is required by law.

7. Governing Law

This contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

8. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By booking and paying for a tutoring session through the Tutor's website, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions outlined in this contract.

 

9. Policies

By booking and paying for a tutoring session through the Tutor's website, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to following the Code of Conduct and Communication as detailed on the No Walls Teaching Website 'Code of Conduct and Communication' page. The Client also acknowledges that they have read and understood the Safeguarding and Privacy Policy as detailed on the relevant pages of the No Walls Teaching website.
